Bluegrass Heritage Museum

217 S. Main St., Winchester, KY 40391

The structure that now houses the Museum was built in 1895 as a private residence. Dr. E. P. Guerrant purchased it in 1927 and established the Guerrant Mission Clinic and Hospital. In 2000, the Guerrant Memorial Association donated the building to the community for the creation of the Bluegrass Heritage Museum.

Today visitors to the beautifully restored building can see many of the original features of the home and hospital, but that’s just the start! Former patient rooms now house continually changing exhibits that tell the story of a people and a place.

Admission Cost is Children ages 5 and under FREE, Students 6-17 $2, Seniors 54 and up $2, Adults 18-53 $5
